Privacy Notice

Effective date to be confirmedDraft
This is a draft notice pending legal review by the operator. The effective date will be shown when the final version is published.

This notice explains what K-MARKET HUB collects when you use the buyer site, why we collect it, who receives it and how long we keep it. It applies to the inquiry and request-for-quotation forms and to the pages you browse. It does not cover the Korean supplier site, which has its own policy in Korean.

1. Who we are

K-MARKET HUB is operated by Bridge to Business, a Korean export agency. In this notice, "we" means the operator. Contact details for privacy requests will be published here once confirmed; until then, use the inquiry form and write "Privacy request" in the subject.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Inquiry and RFQ forms: your name, company name, country, business email address, phone number (optional), company website (optional), the subject and text of your request, RFQ details (item, quantity, target price, delivery date, destination) and any files you attach (PDF, PNG or JPG, up to 2 files)
  • The time you gave consent to this notice, which we record with the inquiry

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs: IP address, browser type, the pages you requested and the time of the request. Logs are used for security and troubleshooting only
  • A session cookie is set only if you sign in to the Korean supplier site. The buyer site does not use advertising or analytics cookies

3. Why we use it

  1. To review your inquiry and forward it to the Korean supplier you asked about, or to suppliers who can answer your request for quotation
  2. To send you a confirmation with a reference number and to relay the supplier's answer to your email address
  3. To ask you for more detail when a supplier needs it
  4. To prevent spam and abuse (for example, a limit on the number of inquiries per email address per day)
  5. To keep records that trade and tax law require us to keep

The legal basis for 1 to 3 is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. The basis for 4 and 5 is our legitimate interest in running a safe service and our legal obligations.

4. Who receives your information

  • The supplier: after our team has reviewed your inquiry, we forward your request to the supplier. The supplier receives your name, company, country, request text and attachments. Your email address and phone number are shared with the supplier only when a conversation has started and both sides agree, or when you ask us to
  • Service providers: companies that host our servers, store uploaded files and deliver email, acting on our instructions
  • Authorities: when the law requires it

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
